Divisional Offices
Dallas is the headquarters for the Clerk's Office. Divisional offices are located in Abilene, Amarillo, Fort Worth, Lubbock, San Angelo, and Wichita Falls.

Citizenship Requirements
The United States Department of Justice, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, mandates all federal government agencies to comply with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA) which states that federal government agencies must hire only American citizens and aliens who are authorized to work in the United States. Completion of Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, is required for all employees.

Background Investigations

Candidates who are selected for employment in the judiciary must successfully pass a background check or investigation as a condition of employment. Once employed, the candidate may be subject to periodic background investigation updates. The background check will include, at a minimum, an FBI fingerprint check. Full field investigations will be conducted on positions that are classified as High-Sensitive.

Electronic Fund Transfer
Employees of the U.S. District Court are required to use the Electronic Fund Transfer for payroll deposit.
