The United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas is recruiting for a Term Law Clerk for the Honorable Lee Ann Reno, U.S. Magistrate Judge. A law clerk to a magistrate judge performs substantive analysis, research, and writing; assists the judge with case management in all phases of litigation; and drafts bench memos, opinions, and orders on matters pending before the judge. The clerkship will start in mid-August of 2024.

The Judicial Support Specialist is a member of the Bankruptcy Clerk’s Office and performs specialized court and courtroom functions including calendaring, electronic court recording, and other courtroom duties. The duties involve assisting with the management of the judge’s caseload, attending and recording court proceedings, and processing orders and other documents. The incumbent is also responsible for a variety of functions from case opening to the final disposition of cases. This position reports to the Dallas Courtroom Deputy Supervisor.

A court reporter performs court reporting services for any judicial proceeding as required. The position is a shared position that works for the entire court but is primarily assigned to one district judge.
